Overview Of Natural Golf Short GameAs any golfer will tell you their goal is to shoot par or better one day. It is an ambition goal but one that can never be achieved if you do not have a solid short game. A natural golf short game might help. Most average golfers go out to the range and hit driver after driver with the misconception that if they can just get 20 more yards out of their drive their scores would drop dramatically. However, most shots can be saved or lost in the short game. A 20 yard chunked pitch will cost you the exact same amount of shots as a 280 yard drive that splits the fairway. You still need to learn touch around the green but that will be learned far more quickly because that is the only thing you will need to remember. You will now aim directly at the pin instead of attempting to compensate for an open stance because you were trying to get extra loft on your club. Many shots are lost around the green because of the lack of confidence and indecisiveness that most golfers have with shots around the green. Not feeling confident about your swing will often lead the average golfer to decelerate during their swing which leads to a slew of bad things. You use the same swing with every shot. Your club stays on the same line so you don't have to attempt to get your club face back square.
